Este retiro debe de ser sólo si lo que estás retirantdo es de tu cuenta de ahorros, porque si sacas de tu tarjeta de crédito es el peor de los negocios.

Una forma de dejar de usar crédito es pasarse al débito y hacer autoprestamos, es decir, me presto plata y me la pago en comodas cuotas a valor de mercado y así los intereses quedan para mi y aumenta mi cupo para prestamos futuros :D
Ahorra el 10% de TODO lo que ganes...

Es un excelente consejo, sobretodo porque en otros gastos menores que no tienen importancia se puede ir todo el salario y sin haber ahorrado absolutamente nada.

I do the same thing but I also started to "pay myself" by writing in a smaller amount for deposits (such as my pay) than the actual amount. I am horrible at saving so my listing $150 less a paycheck as available funds puts the money out of sight. I keep looking at the total available in my savings account and it seems I find ways to spend it. But with the checking account, I keep reminding myself that I don't know what has cleared the bank so I should use my own figures not what is listed on the account.

Reading your post I was reminded of how in many places, people take "evening strolls" to unwind. I remember someone saying they were taking thier "evening consitutional" in reference to this. I find this an interesting phrase but I think that some quiet time out in nature is one of the best ways to destress. Take a water bottle from home and it is a free event too.
