ATT has a plan that is meant to screw it's customers, only offering either a 400 minute plan (which we all go over) and a 900 plan (which most don't use). They also have rollover minutes (unused minutes rollover to the next month and are added) that are good till the end of the year. I've been able to save a lot of money by keeping a 900 minute plan on my iphone for the first half of the year, racking up a TON of rollover minutes, and then dropping my plan to 400 minutes for the last 6 months. With my average usage, it averages to the equivelent of paying for a 600-700 minute plan. Saves me roughly 30 bucks a month!

I use the application "Grocery Gadget" and there may be other apps out there that do the same thing. I include the cost of the item on my list. Not only does it keep a running tally, and therefore I can keep within my budget easier, but it saves me shopping time as well. It's quite a game for me to prepare my list and keep it within my budget. I like to keep the "cost" of my grocery trips to below a certain amount, and this app lets me spread out my purchases so that I am spending more evenly, and often less.

Para los que dispongan de un terminal iphone existe una aplicación que se llama "precios de las gasolineras" (existen otras, para España esta es la mas completa y cómoda a mi parecer). Te indica los precios de los combustibles por litro, además puedes configurar según el tamaño del deposito de tu vehiculo, el tipo de combustible que consume y según la posición en la que te encuentres para que te diga las gasolineras que tienes cercas, cuales son las mas baratas y cuanto te ahorras llenando el deposito si elijes una u otra. Te las posiciona en un mapa, diferencia con colores las más caras de las más baratas y hace uso de google maps para llevarte hasta ellas. Puedes ahorrar entre uno y dos euros por depósito inclusive 5 o 6 euros en algunas ocasiones y te mantiene informado dia a dia te las fluctuaciones de los precios, interesante ya que hay gasolineras que aplican antes las bajadas que otras y viceversa.

Ogni volta che, utilizzando l'applicazione di Moneytrackin per iPhone, si aggiunge una transazione bisogna chiudere l'applicazione e poi riaprirla per vedere aggiornato il proprio conto sulla base della transazione effettuata.
