Let the temperature drop down while you are away for the day and then have the temperature rise again around 5 p.m. to an hour before you go to sleep and the temperature will drop while you sleep. This is a great way to cut down on wasted heating while no one is at home. These are easy to install yourself and can be picked up at a local home improvement store such as Home Depot.
