put tv and cable box on power strip and turn off if not using save vampire electricity

thats a good concept if you dont mind waiting an hour for your cable box to reload the guide and you dont mind resetting up your tv every time you turn it on. Instead leave them alone and unplug every phone charger lap top charger and un used appliance like toaster ovens or can openers. You might save even more and not spend half your day resetting clocks, channels, and pictures
