don't look at the totals on your credit cards look at the interest rate
example :
1,000 at 15% interest on one card with 160 minimum payment
1,500 at 10% interest at 160 minimum payment

you have 400 to spend on your cards put 240 on the 1000 dollar card and minimum on the other one. In the long run it will save you money.

Good advice. But I want you to know the best advice is always pay the TOTAL. Then, you will not ever pay interests. My second advice: keep your cards in home. Use cash. You will a avoid the temptation of gain points when use it. Use just one card.
